(Cruiserweight Title Match)

Background:

The Cruiserweights have been on a bit of an upswing of late. After the brilliance of the Cruiserweight Classic, the newly minted Cruiserweight division has struggled on Raw. Despite giving them their own live show on the WWE Network, it was hard to be interested when the product was a watered down version of the fantastic tournament. Then came the return of Neville. After recovering from injury, Neville became an afterthought on the main roster, which is a role unfitting of a man who can perform the types of moves that Neville can. His arrival, and subsequent heel turn, was the perfect injection of energy in both Neville and the Cruiserweight division as a whole. His presence gives the entire division a new star and dynamic to build around. It has allowed other stars to slowly grow rather than be forced into the spotlight. One of those stars is Jack Gallagher. The Extraordinary Gentleman has been one of the most entertaining parts of the division with his unique style and unorthodox offense, making him the best choice to contend with Neville.

Prediction: Neville

Unfortunately for Gallagher, now is simply not his time. Neville is elevating the whole division and taking the belt off of him would be a huge mistake that could hinder the Cruiserweights.  With Akira Tozawa growing in popularity, Austin Aries soon to debut, and many other stars beginning to establish themselves in the roles they have been given, the right man to take the title from the self proclaimed King of the Cruiserweights has yet to establish themselves as the next leader of the division. Until that man is established, Neville will continue to rule the Cruiserweights.
